Abortion

      My dream job and calling is to be an ultrasound technician.  One thing i hope to do is to discourage abortion. So, i am strongly pro life. Here is a link to a video of a 12 year old girl who makes a speech to her class about abortion. You have to check this video out. It is amazing!

      I was on you tube a while ago and saw a couple videos of teens that were pregnant and gave birth to a child. They both said that they thought their baby was the joy in their life. They both also said that they would never make the decision they did, would never encourage it, and was trying to help others who are going through the same thing. One of the girls said that they would never even consider abortion! I am heart broken for these girls my age.
 This is a REAL problem. I encourage you to reach out and help your community and don't judge the people in this situation. They NEED friends! They NEED Christ in their life to direct them!
REACH OUT TO THOSE WHO SEEM LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not just people with the thought of abortion but everyone else! Put yourself in their shoes and Do What Jesus Would Do!!!!!!!!!

Group Talk

   The girls my class and I were talking and we brought up how crazy our class was. We were trying to make the conversation on what my English teacher said last year about how our class could be really influential to the school because we have the biggest class. So we decided to have a verse each week to memorize and to build our relationships around God. To have our conversations a reflection of our growth through Him.
     I really encourage this with your friends or family. I also encourage you to find friends that you can talk about anything with! Especially to talk about God!!

One of the Many Things

    One thing i have learned from my growth with Christ is that you have to continue to give yourself up to Him each day. He will listen and lift you up.
     He knows what you need and He will give it to you if you are willing to get out of the ditch on the side of the road back onto the path He provided.
      One prayer i have found myself praying is for God to carry me. For Him to be my shoulder to cry on and my encouragement in time of trouble. For Him to just be my Protecter, Strength, and Hope for the future.
                     He Truly is an Awesome God!!!!

To Expirience

    I was so blessed to expirience someome coming to Christ.
    At my friend's weekend retreat on a Saturday, i witnessed someone's reserection. She had never fully entered a true relationship with Christ untill that day. It was a life changing desicion and i was there!
    I felt God's presence and i felt it radiating off her. I knew that she had made the choice whole heartedly. It was a beautiful thing to expirience.

Realizing

     Isn't it so cool to look over what you wrote right before something changed your life? Well i was just looking over my notes from camp on the evening that changed my life and that night one of my pasters had talked so little about a calling.While i was writeing those notes i remember thinking that he should talk more about someone's calling.
       Even earlier than that when another church had a musical program and during rehersal people could do devotions, i was thinking about doing one on someone's calling just i didn't think it was the right time. God had put me on this ongoing adventure and everything i thought and did worked up to it...
      I Love God!!!!!!!!!! Don't you? He works everything for His good! He has a Will and there will always be a Way!

Easier

     Some things are easier to write then to say. That is why I encourage the post below. Now I have a note book on my devise that has inspiring stories that I will be posting for a few days. These stories have people in them that i dom't want to name so if it gets confusing, sorry. So p

A Great Decision

        Have you ever gotten a really beautiful notebook and you don't know what to do with it? Well... I have.
        My great decision was to make it into a prayer journal. I write my prayers in them especially when i want to keep the prayer. Each time you read it you will hear God's voice speaking to you. Sometimes it's different. Many times it helped me get rid of anger and frushtration and just pouring it out to God cause He can take it all.
       He loves me, you, and THE WORLD!!!! Listen to His voice.

Heartbroken for a Baby

Here is a sad story of death, tears, and joy:

I found out that one of my dad's used to be student had her baby and his intestines and all the parts that are supposed to be inside his body were outside of his body. He was prematurely born and there was nothing the doctors could do for this baby. His heart was beating about 6 hours after he was born and his mother held him for those 6 hours and he died.
I was in tears when i heard this. I dont know the family and i dont know the exacts but i was heart broken for this mother. My dad said that he is for sure this baby went to heaven. I was touched and i believe that to. That baby is in heaven and he has a perfectly new body and will be living with Jesus for the rest of his eternal life (forever). His mother will see him one day and they will both say that it was for the best of both of their lives.

Friend's Baptism

Here is my story at one of my friend's baptism:

I am so happy she took that big step into a deeper relationship with God and i know she will be a great young woman.
During her baptism i could feel God's presence and i am now starting recognize it more. I am starting to enjoy it and i long for it each day.
When i get baptized i will not be able to control myself from crying because i could barely today for her baptism. It will be a great experience for me when i do get baptized and i believe i am ready now. Knowing that God trusts me and i Him. I fear Him and love Him. I will pursue His calling for my life and there is no doubt that I am not going to heaven.

My Strength in Time of Weakness

My friend and  I were talking and I was just overwhelmed by how much school work I had and all the studying. We started looking up verses to encourage oneanother. Here are the verses we found:

"Strength. Courage. Don't be timid. Don't get discouraged. God your God is with you every step you take" Joshua 1:9

"Stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord" 1 Corinthians 15:58

"But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one." 2 Thessalonians 3:3

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Colossians 3:23-24

This is my text that I sent her after we had looked up those verses:

"Wow it was cool how when I thought that; God said... you can do it... this is satan talking to you...; it was amazing now that I realize it."

Your Encouragement, My Faith

       Here are some verses and encourahement to purse your calling from the Father that loves you.

Pursue Your Calling.
You may not know what the Lord is calling you to do today, and that’s okay. But pursuing your calling is a bold and courageous thing. "Run after the things that make your heart swell. Ask questions, ask for wisdom. Be friends with those younger than you, older than you and in the same season as you. Do things you love to do. Make a plan, but keep in mind that you can make all the plans in the world, but the Lord is the one who directs each of our steps." - teendevotionblog.wordpress.com

My Calling

          My vision has cleared...

The Calling:
Now it is clear to me why God was calling me. Here are the main points:
~ to find someone to grow in relationship with
~ His calling to be an ultrasound technician
~ to move forward in guitar for better worship
~ read His Word
~ find someone to minister to
~ grow deeper in praying for others

          I love my Father in Heaven and i love that i am digging deeper into my relationship with Him.

God Trusts Me

        Here is another Spirital Encounter. This though was pretty freaky.

God Trusts Me
                 A few days after Mars Hill Camp I had a spiritual attack . Right before I went to sleep, I had read my Bible and and was singing songs to God.
                  Right before I woke up I felt like I was being held down I was kicking and fighting for a breath of air. I could see but, everything was dark around me. I called out in my head to God and when that didn't work, I cried out "God please help me!" I woke up and jumped out of bed, got my Bible, and just opened it. Right away I felt peace.

                 Now I know that God trusts me and He would have never let that happen if He didn't already believe in me. He knows my heart and because of that, now I know it too! It reminds me of the story with Isacc and Jacob. He had to sacrifice his son because God told him to! I felt God has that same trust in me and I think I would do anything for Him!

My Testimony

       I am so scared to write this because i am not really one that shows off my faith openly. Though, I am glad God has given me courage to do it lately. Here is my testimony from August 26, 2014. (The day after my birthday infact!)

My Testimony:
    On Aug. 26, 2014, after chapel at Mars Hill Camp (a camp my school puts on to build relationships), I was sitting by the glow up cross writing in my journal about how overwhelmed I was by the spirit coming upon me. Then the new camp mom came over and said that when she came out and saw someone sitting alone she thought 'I hope that is Kiah' (me) and she felt God calling to come over and talk to me.
     I told her how I felt and I started crying because I could feel His presence. She prayed with me and two things stood out to me: She prayed for peace and clearity in what God was calling me to do. Right after, I felt peaceful and I could relax. I didn't know right away what He was calling me for but, I knew I was about to change.
      A little more talking and a switch of seats, the camp mom told me I should find that one person to share in a relationship with God. I felt at that moment that God was telling me that one of my camp mate\ school mate was that special person. I asked her the next day and she seemed honored and surprised. Later I told her the story and we talked about God's presence and how powerful it is. That night I told  one of my other class mates and she prayed with me and I for her.
            During that week I had more meetings with God and was indluenced by His Spirit.

DIY 1

Here is one of my favorite projects that I did for a friend.
The pockets can be used for multiple things: earbuds, phones, cash, cards and more! The denim adds effect to the colors of fabric. Especially the Yo-yos as the flowers in the front are called.
Measurements for Fabric:
(1st # is like latitude × 2nd # is like longitude) (# is number)
8.3 × 3.2 the main fabric (make 2)
5.5 ×3.2  for the phone pocket
5.5 × 7.5 to fold for the other pocket

The rest you can do youself... be creative!

Friendships!

Many people have trouble with their friendships and i am one of them. A thing that I figured out is that you have to work it out! God has put them in your life for a reason and it will end up being the best for both of your livs even if you arent friends forever.  
Here is my FAVORITE poem about friendship:
         There are good ships
                      And there are wood ships,
                                    The ships that sail the sea.
                                                   But the best ships are
Friendships
                                And may they always be!

The golden rule at most schools is: Treat others the way you want to be treated. 
That rule can also be seen as: Love your neighbor as yourself. 
Friendships are blessings from God, so don't use and waste your friends!

1st Post!!

Why: I have created this blog to tell my story and share unique things that God has done in my life and to share things I learn.
What: I will try to write at least once aweek but, the first few weeks will be constant.
I will also be posting guitar songs I learn that week since I am taking guitar lessons.
Every once in a while there may be things about ballet since I am also taking ballet lessons.
I also am a really crafty person so many DIYs will be posted!
